Who Am I Suffragan Bishop James E. Daniel On December 16, 1977, James E. Daniel was baptized in the name of Jesus in Hampton, Virginia under the guidance of Dr. Merlin Ford, Sr. pastor of The Church of Jesus. Shortly thereafter, he received the Holy Ghost. In 1979, due to James Daniel's military occupation, he was transferred to New Orleans, Louisiana and became a member of Christ Temple Pentecostal Church, pastor by the late District Elder J.R. Tankerson. James Daniel became very active in the church and later was called to preach the gospel. During his tenure at Christ Temple he held several positions: Chairman of the Deacon Board, President of the Youth Department, Adult Sunday School Teacher, Assistant to the Pastor, and Assistant Treasurer of the Louisiana District Young People Union. In 1982, he was licensed by the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Incorporated. In 1983, he became the President of the Louisiana District Young Peoples Union and held that position for six years. In June 1987, James E. Daniel was elevated to District Elder of the Southeastern Louisiana District Council by the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. In June 1996, he was elevated to the position of Suffragan Bishop. He is currently on the Louisiana District Council Executive Board and Administrator/Treasurer of the Louisiana District Council. He is serving on the Board of Directors for Aenon Bible College, the educational arm of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. He is also a Licensed Insurance Agent in the State of Louisiana. James E. Daniel studied Art Education at Savannah College, Real-Estate at Delgado community College, Business Management at Northwood Institute, Theology at Aenon Bible College and Liberty Bible College; and received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Friends International Christian University. He also holds a B.A.B. (Born -Again Beliver) Degree from Jesus University. |
